"Concrete" was the result of VANNI's collaboration with Christian Chironi, a young Italian artist and winner of the #vanniartistroom Prize at Artissima 2019. The capsule collection of artist's eyewear is inspired by the incredible houses he has lived in: the coating of the metal shell, with a matte varnish with a rough-touch effect, hints at the materiality of concrete. This model is inspired by Casa Victoria Ocampo in Buenos Aires, built for Victoria, a great figure of a woman to whom that pink tone of the side lugs of the temples is meant to pay homage, celebrating her determination and that of those who will be able to wear this model of eyewear while showing their convictions.
