"Concrete" was the result of VANNI's collaboration with Christian Chironi, a young Italian artist and winner of the #vanniartistroom Prize at Artissima 2019. The capsule collection of artist's eyewear is inspired by the incredible houses he has lived in: the coating of the metal shell, with a matte varnish with a rough-touch effect, hints at the materiality of concrete. The harmonious choice of photochromic lenses is reminiscent of the warm, enveloping light of Pierre Jeanneret House.
