BLADE is the block of cellulose acetate exclusively designed and produced for the VANNI collection. A pattern that slices the material into miniscule parts, then compacts the thousands of pearlescent-hued slivers on a transparent background.
The tones of anthracite grey, brown, intense red, purple, and emerald green create pairings as sharp as the edges of the acetate slab they come from, leaving a striking mark hidden behind a seeming sobriety
The shapes of the acetate eyeglasses
- full and dimensional, in unisex or feminine forms - bond the block material
with alternations of transparent acetate in sophisticated colours: blue,
turquoise, purple and tortoiseshell, not to mention classic black.
