By now we
know: finding our colour friends and combining them well is fundamental to
accentuating and enhancing our natural features. Thanks to armocromia, today
we’re discovering the warm, muted tones
of AUTUMN.
Chiara Piscedda- a wonderful autumn personality- has paid a visit to our showroom, and
is teaming up with our expert stylist Beatrice Baronti to help us explore some
“tips and tricks” for choosing the shapes and colours of glasses best suited to
her. We had fun exploring different pairings together to find the perfectly
decisive and original look.
Rule n. 1: balance. In order to balance our face features it’s important
to avoid mirroring the traits that we prefer not to accentuate, so we look to
create combinations inversely proportional to our facial structure. We can
soften our look with more restrained accessories, or, alternatively, create
emphasis by adding extra-strong accents with total contrast.
Let’s take Chiara as an example: warm colours with low
contrast from our Colours line suit her best: they support the cheekbone and
balance her profile. YES also to sage green, and to the dark brown/red contrast
of the Remaster collection: it highlights the eyes. Attention to the reds:
ladies with autumnal tones like Chiara should always lean more towards a tame
burgundy than a cherry red, which makes the newest metal styles of the VANNI Pixel collection ideal. Choosing from the exclusive acetate styles of the
Micropixel collection, rectangular shapes get the go ahead, with frames in
warm, light hues on the brow: brown, green, and black pearlescent.
Rule no. 2: let’s learn how to wow. The Sparks sunglasses in extra-large shapes and sculpted faceting draw attention to the
jawline and mouth, giving Chiara an assertive, personalised gaze. The warm
colours are perfect, but with a bit of a tan in the summer months Chiara can
opt for brighter, more vibrant colours as well, like the Sparks in yellow or
red.
