The enchanted island in the Venice lagoon
The tiny town of 3,000 people is less well-known than its famous neighbor Venice, but just as captivating between the water of the lagoon that surrounds it and the small houses that face out onto its picturesque canals. And it is a new stop on VANNI’s tour of smaller tourist destinations that are nonetheless just as significant to our country.
VANNI chose Burano for this photo shoot of the new 2021-22 eyewear collection to recall the fanciful shades of its acetate and metal models, and as an opportunity to explore new backdrops while maintaining the strong connection with colour that characterises the brand, highlighting shapes and materials with the help of vibrant contrasts.
